Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Alian AI website ("the site") and the AI tools accessible on it. Engagements with us are governed by a separate Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) — these terms only cover use of the public site.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for ordinary business research, demos of our AI agents, and to contact us. You may not:
- Attempt to extract our prompts, system instructions, or training data
- Use the AI agents to produce content that's illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights
- Probe, scan, scrape, or stress the site beyond ordinary use
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your relationship with us
The AI agents
The AI agents on the site (the homepage Live Problem Solver and the floating chat) are demos. Outputs are generated by large language models and may be incorrect. Don't make legal, medical, financial, or business decisions based solely on those outputs. Verify everything that matters with a human.
We rate-limit the agents per IP. If you hit the limit, that's working as intended.
Your content
You retain ownership of anything you type into our forms or AI agents. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to use it internally to reply to you and to improve our service. We don't publish your submissions without explicit permission.
Our content
Case studies, blog posts, and site copy are © Alian Software. You may quote and link with attribution. Don't republish in full without permission.
Our brand assets (the Alian AI wordmark, the brand colors) are not available for use without permission.
Warranties + liability
The site and its AI agents are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Our maximum liability for anything related to use of the site is limited to $100 USD or its local-currency equivalent. This does not limit liability for fraud or anything law doesn't allow us to disclaim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Maharashtra, India. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Pune. If you're not in India, you still agree to this — it keeps things simple for both of us.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms. Material changes get logged in the changelog.
